A choice of two powerful active subwoofers are available to complement the bass range of the OPERA-LIVE systems. Thanks to its completely integrated electronic system, including an active stereo-mono crossover, these subwoofers are very user-friendly and provide optimal audio performance. The subwoofer housing is made of poplar multiplex with black textured paint, which produces an efficient combination of sounds characteristics, high stability and low weight.

The 12“ long stroke woofer with 3“ voice coil moves up to top form in the band- pass housing. The 400W/RMS output stage designed like the new innovative MT Amplifier Series provides the necessary propulsion at an extremely low weight.
The MT amp design, produced in SMD technology, combines high- grade class H technology with high-power components, to produce a lighter and more efficient unit. In addition to the lighter weight, less space requirements allow for a unique and most reliable performance.

The integrated active crossover allows for easy setup of active systems. Filters are set at 24 dB/ octave at 100 Hz and can run both in Mono and Stereo mode. The temperature-controlled fan ensures adequate cooling, as the amplifier module is housed in an enclosed casing to reduce interference. The connection features are also flexible: on the input side Neutrik Combo sockets are provided for jack and XLR, whil on the output side there are two XLR Parallel Outs and two XLR HF-X Over Outs available.
The integrated dynamic soft clip limiter protects the system from overload. The 35 mm flange permits the use of a spacer bar.
